Tribute
Happy Birthday to Shawn's sister Jennifer. Jennifer celebrated her birthday on April 5th. She loves animals, palm trees and the sun. She loves to be where ever the sun is shining! Jennifer and Bruce have 1 dog and 3 cats. The funniest thing Jennifer has ever said to Monica goes something like this:
Jennifer: "I really enjoyed being a bridesmaid. Thanks for asking me."
Monica: "Your welcome, of course I would ask you, you're my sister now."
Jennifer: "I really liked being a bridesmaid, but I would like being an aunt better!"
Monica: "(very long pause) Okay, well I'll keep that in mind..."
We still laugh about that. Jennifer we love you and hope that you had a wonderful birthday.
AND an Anniversary tribute to Stan and Chantal. They celebrated their 32nd wedding Anniversary on April 5th. Jennifer was lucky enough to be born on their wedding anniversary. Stan and Chantal met while Stan was serving his mission in Quebec, Canada. Chantal worked in the mission office. She wanted to move to America and go to BYU, Stan suggested that she contact his parents and they could help her with the arrangements. Stan finished up his mission and came home and Chantal was still in contact with his parents. They went on dates every day for a week and then Stan proposed, they were married 6 months later. And now they are living happily ever after with 1 amazing son, Shawn, and 2 wonderful daughters Jennifer & Kara! We love you guys, thanks for all that you do for us. Happy Anniversary!
