We painted the boys' room (gonna have to get used to that) this month. I was a little nervous at first, the color seemed so bright, but Shawn assured me that once we got the room put back together it would look awesome and also that bright colors are good for developing minds. Our kids better grow up brighter than their room! :) The color is called Japanese Koi and it's kind of a bright yellowish orange. The picture below really doesn't do the color justice.
For all of you that have wanted to see a picture of me pregnant. . .here you go. I hope you're happy! I've held out on doing this picture as long as possible but Shawn finally forced me into it. He says it's for posterity, or some sentimental crap like that.
Lincoln is VERY excited about the new room and especially the paint, he really loves the orange. We did "the boys'" bathroom the same color and it is jungle themed in there as well.
I guess after all the painting, Shawn felt all inspired. . .like, Michelangelo Systine Chapel inspired.
We haven't figured out yet what is going to go on the wall. So, Shawn and Lincoln will have to do for now.
