Turkey! Turkey! Turkey!
I am not sure where November went....

My parents met 35 years ago on Thanksgiving day in Spain,
while serving missions for the LDS church. This year they will celebrate their 34th wedding anniversary.

Happy Halloween (a little late)
Halloween was so much fun this year! I love that Lincoln is getting older and can enjoy the holiday more. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, mostly for the candy, but I love seeing little kids get excited about their costumes and all the treats. I bought pumpkins early this year and got Lincoln all excited to carve them and then we were so busy all month it didn't happen. I bought some ghetto stickers and let Lincoln decorate them, he seemed satisfied.

Cutest superman and skeleton EVER! I love Oliver's little pumpkin bucket. Lincoln brought that home from his school party and immediately gave it to Oliver, because it was the perfect size.

We had a great Halloween trick-or-treating at the ward trunk-or-treat on Friday night and then again on Saturday night at several member's homes in our neighborhood. Our good friends Kade and Maddie got a babysitter for both of our kids and we watched the Prince of Persia together here at our house with no kids! We definitely need to do that again.

Boo at the Zoo
We took Lincoln and Oliver to the zoo this weekend. Having a Phoenix Zoo membership has been totally worth it. We don't feel like we have to stay all day to get our money's worth and we have had the chance to do different activities at the zoo with our membership discount.
This weekend was Boo at the Zoo. I thought the whole zoo would be decked out in Halloween stuff, but only one section was and we didn't really make it over there. But we did ride the paddle boats and stand in line for 20 minutes to see the new koala exhibit...koala butts are not all they are "cracked" up to be....

Just a bunch of random stuff
Haven't blogged in a while so naturally, we have a whole bunch of stuff that doesn't fit together except that it's all mostly the same characters, kind of like the new Star Wars movies.

Oliver's First Vacation
We spent a most of Saturday afternoon in American Fork Canyon with Shawn's family and a couple of buckets of KFC. It was perfect!
Sunday after church we went to Salt Lake to visit my Grandma Bullen and my cute Aunt Diane come over, it was great to catch up on everything with my extended family.
