"As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly"

The stockings were hung by "the staircase" with care....
Making Christmas cookies - Lincoln was so cute, he asked if Santa would think his cookies were beautiful.

Christmas cookies and Chips & Salsa - a complete meal.

This was the plate that Santa was able to choose from, he left Lincoln a note telling him that both he and his reindeer LOVED the cookies, especially Rudolph.

The boys made gingerbread houses with their cousins and Grandma, but I only have one picture
Christmas morning we had church at 8 am - I thought that Lincoln would be sad and disappointed that he wasn't going to be able to open his presents until after church, but he was so good about getting ready and not complaining.

Our Christmas service was wonderful.  The choir sang a few hymn's including "O Holy Night", (which is one of my favorites and I have never heard it sung by a choir) and 3 short spiritual messages.  I was so grateful for the messages shared and the special spirit that we had with us all day.

Lincoln's elf, Rigadimp left matching Christmas jammies.
More matching - Christmas suits from Grandma Jensen.
Both Shawn and Lincoln's elves left Transformer Star Wars toys in their stockings!

Merry Christmas!
