Boo at the Zoo

We took Lincoln and Oliver to the zoo this weekend. Having a Phoenix Zoo membership has been totally worth it. We don't feel like we have to stay all day to get our money's worth and we have had the chance to do different activities at the zoo with our membership discount.

This weekend was Boo at the Zoo. I thought the whole zoo would be decked out in Halloween stuff, but only one section was and we didn't really make it over there. But we did ride the paddle boats and stand in line for 20 minutes to see the new koala exhibit...koala butts are not all they are "cracked" up to be....

I know Lincoln likes the zoo, but I think he loves the food more than the animals.

Oliver enjoying his 1st trip to the zoo.

We decided to do the paddle boat ride around the lake, Lincoln was entertained for the first 10 minutes....we were out on the lake for 20.

Just a bunch of random stuff

Haven't blogged in a while so naturally, we have a whole bunch of stuff that doesn't fit together except that it's all mostly the same characters, kind of like the new Star Wars movies.

Uncle John telling "Santa" what he wants for Christmas.

Yayyyyyy Meat!

Lincoln's Superman castle (Red and Blue)

Sundays aren't really complete without a good chat with Grandpa by the pool.

Lincoln and I decorated the house for Halloween with bats that Shawn made for us during LDS General Conference. We also hung up pumpkins lights on the front door. I ordered several books about Halloween and Thanksgiving. I am excited to start teaching the boys about different holidays.

I'm thinking it's a good thing Batman doesn't have googly eyes on his symbol. No one would take him seriously!

And, everyone lean to the left. . .Good job!
