Adria Savannah Jensen

I was lucky enough to be induced 2 weeks early because the amniotic fluid was low and getting lower every day.  My prayers for having the baby early, but with no health problems were answered!

 37.5 weeks

We always have such a good time together, even in the hospital!

 Adria Savannah Jensen
6 lbs 6 oz
18 1/2 long
The name Adria comes from the Adriatic Sea, my mom's ancestors are from that part of the world. Savannah is from the movie Savannah Smiles.  It was one of my favorite movies growing up and I had wanted a daughter named Savannah my whole life.  When I was younger people thought  I looked and acted like the little girl in the movie and Shawn loved both names.

45 minutes hard labor, 10 minutes of pushing - NO drugs
(By far my easiest labor and we got to go home the next day)

 Daddy-Daughter Time

The hospital brought us a "complimentary" steak and shrimp dinner with baked potatoes, asparagus, dinner rolls and sparkling cider.

Shawn and John surprised me with a coloring book to pass the time in the hospital.
Coloring is my new most favorite relaxing hobby.

 Our first visitors

Yo Homies! Whassup y'all?!?!
On our way home.

The boys love her! Lincoln wants to kiss her the minute he gets home from school and Oliver wants to hold and feed her throughout the day.

Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice

My Mom and Aunt Anahi hosted a lovely, very pink, baby shower on March 2nd. We enjoyed yummy sandwiches, fruits and veggies, jelly beans and red velvet cake.  It was so nice to be surrounded by friends and family  - and I am excited to dress Adria up in all the cute clothes we received.

Lincoln's 6!

 This awesome guy is 6!

We did our traditional streamers on the bedroom door and woke Lincoln and Oliver to a cover of The Beatle's "They Say It's Your Birthday". We had a quick breakfast of donuts, opened presents from Grandma & Grandpa Jensen sent him off to school with 24 superhero cupcakes to share with his class.

I picked Lincoln up early from daycare and we went shopping at Walmart with the money that he has earned taking out the garbage and recycling and recycling. We walked around the toy section for an hour looking at everything, and I mean EVERYTHING (he took this purchase very seriously).  He eventually picked out a Spiderman, web shooting glove - that he has had his eye on for months.

Then over to In-N-Out for dinner with Grandma & Grandpa Bullen, Uncle John, Eryn and Adam.  Where Uncle John taught Lincoln the correct way to eat an In-N-Out burger.
