Potpourri

Food Storage and 72 hr kits, part of our New Year's Resolution

Monica started her Masters of Administration degree with an emphasis in Leadership at Northern Arizona University.

We have had lots of car problems this week. The battery in Monica's car died and a couple of days later, the driver's side axle on Shawn's car broke. But Guess what? We just saved a whole bunch of money our car by having our neighbor fix it! :) Thanks Spencer!

Inauguration Day

We also want to recognize the new 44th President of the United States of America. We are grateful to live in a country where the the change of power goes smoothly and respectfully. We are grateful to live in a country where the citizens get to voice their opinion and that opinion is recognized. We did not vote for President Obama, but we respect the office that he holds and look forward to what his idealism and desire for change can bring to our nation.

Your shelves look a lot like mine, we've been working on food storage too! Doesn't it make you feel happy and prepared?! I share your sentiments on the Inauguration:) (I have to say it gives me incentive to get more food storage.)

Spencer and I know a little about car troubles. A $100 job turned into a $1600 almost $1700 job in just 3 hours. Guess who is thinking about putter her organs up for auction?! ;)
