Quest for the Best - Girls Camp 2011

I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to go to Girls Camp last week, well "Girls Resort". Our stake goes up to Camp Shadow Pines every year, so our girls get to sleep in cabins and take showers every day and have a professional staff provide them with 3 delicious meals for 4 days.  This year's theme was Quest for the Best with a medieval theme.  Not only was it a lot of fun, but the girls  and the leaders where able to strengthen their testimonies of the gospel and their friendships with each other.  The Youth theme for this year is "We Believe" based on the 13th Article of Faith.

I love the words to this years camp song:

 Funny story: Our first years were mistakenly advised to bring bananas instead of bandanas to Stake Camp Certification night, our poor girls were so confused walking around with their bananas instead of bandanas for first aid night. Our ward had a good laugh over that....to keep the fun going we had a big giant banana as part of our skit just standing in the background.
