35....

This handsome man turned 35 this year....the big 3-5!  Shawn doesn't think much of age, but I think its a big deal, so big in fact that I frequently forget how old I am...anyway. We celebrated with the kids by having Shawn's favorite fast food, Wendy's. For dinner we went to his favorite restaurant, Texas Road house, minus the kids so we could enjoy a warm meal surrounded by a couple of friends and family. And topped it off with a delicious carrot cake. Here's to 35 more!

Anyone who knows Shawn knows that he loves movies and anyone who knows me knows I love going to bed early. This is really the perfect gift for both of us. We had our small old TV in our room and NO blue-ray as you can image Shawn wasn't a big fan of watching movies in our room - but thanks to my brother John, who works at Best Buy, we got an awesome deal on this 42 inch TV and a blue-ray. Here's to falling asleep in bed instead of on the couch - I mean Happy Birthday Shawn!

Our friends Jon and Brandy and my brother John and his (our friend too) Adam celebrated with us at Texas Roadhouse.( My parents were there, but my dad wasn't feeling well and had to leave early.)
