We had lunch every week, went hiking together, talked about who were were dating at the time. Often took each other as a date if finding a "real date" for group dates was too much trouble. We were best friends and had been dating off and on for almost 4 years at this point.- Steilacoom Beach, Washington Christmas Break 2002
The night we officially got engaged - Shawn popped the question by drawing all of our memories in a book. Each memory started with "Remember when...". The final entry was "Remember that night in February when I got down on my knee and proposed to you..." Monica said "Really". The rest is history. - January 2003
We were married at the Jordan River Temple in Utah on March 27, 2003. It was FREEZING the day we were married. Everyone is wearing coats and warm clothes and Monica had her veil to keep warm!

We had our wedding reception at The Colonial House in Lehi, UT.
We spent our honeymoon in San Diego, CA and Disneyland. San Diego is our favorite city in the US. We have been there almost a half-dozen times since we got married.

CUTE!!! Geez, I miss you guys!!! I really am going to make sure we plan a trip out to see you guys, it will most likely have to be in the fall though. I did however hear a rumor that you might be coming out to Colorado this summer?? Is that true?!?!?! That would be AMAZING! But I won't get TOO excited because it was just a rumor! Love you guys! Seriously! I miss you and want to talk more! School has kept me so busy and then starting Ty's company. When things calm down more I'll give you a few more calls! :)
