We thought that maybe the lines would be short and the parks empty because of the Recession, ( I use the term Recession loosely, people are still buying SUVs) but the parks were not empty. It wasn't horribly busy though; the longest line we waited in was 20 minutes for Finding Nemo.
During last weekend's vacation, our car broke down and we were stranded in the middle of nowhere for 2 hours. The most exciting thing that happened on this trip was me being attacked by Toy Story's Mr. Potato Head. I guess he didn't really attack me, he just startled me. I stood up to take a picture of something else and I guess he came up really close behind me, so when I turned around I jumped and screamed a little. Well I tried to move away (my personal space was being compromised) and I think Mr. Potatohead thought I was going to put my arm around him and pose for a picture, but I was just moving away and he ended up touching my butt! The pictures are pretty funny. Shawn is coming on the next Disney trip armed with a potato peeler and a vat of fry grease!
It was a very nice relaxing girls weekend. Shawn and I have decided that we each should get a Boys or Girls weekend at least once a year.
